Prices for website design and construction

Please note: exact design and construction costs depend on the actual amount of work involved.

We will quote a fixed price when we know your website design requirements, but to give you an idea, here is a price guide:

	Prices
A domain name (.com for example)	Buy this yourself so you have full control over your asset –we will tell you how. Costs from CHF 17.-/ year
Hosting	You can also buy this yourself. We will advise you. Costs from CHF 6.-/month.
Design fee	CHF 550 one-off
Per 'standard' page from template	CHF 125 / page
Response form page; calendar page with owner access	CHF 300 / page
Text creation, research, etc.	CHF 140 / hour

PRICING EXAMPLE:

A simple site with 4 content pages plus a response form and calendar, including domain name and standard hosting would cost as follows:

Please note this price example is for a very simple web site, with text and pictures supplied by the client. The Design Fee allows half a day for the creation of an original design style that is used as a template for the site. Extra pages, additional design work, text creation, image sourcing etc. will cost more.

PAYMENT TERMS:
 50% at the start and 50% when the site is ready to go live on the Internet. Prices include uploading the site to the Internet, submission to major search engines, setting up email, and 'reasonable' updates during the first 3 months. After 3 months, updates are charged at CHF140 per hour.
